My name is Amanda. I am a single mother to a beautiful little baby girl. I am a KC-135 Crew Chief (Airplane Mechanic) in the United States Air Force. I am an aspiring singer/songwriter. I am member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am not a victim. I survived domestic violence and sexual assault.

    I must say that you are very pretty and very brave.
    Hats off to your courage Ma’am. 🙂
    It’s our determination and courage to fight such abuses and violence that keeps us going. Truly said, we are survivors, not victims.

  4. Thank-you so much for taking the time to visit my blog and for the follow. I have read your posts and must say how brave I think you are. My first marriage failed ( it was not an abusive one) and I thought that was harrowing enough but to add having been assaulted and abused to the misery of a broken partnership must be absolutely terrible. May you find peace and contentment and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your daughter.

    I am so sorry to hear what you went through but I bet you your life is richer now as a result of what you went through?

    Thank you for writing about your experience and sharing your struggles. Your courage will give others in similar positions the strength to overcome abuse and survive.

    Well done for considering yourself a survivor, not a victim.

I’m so blessed to have found your beautiful blog full of inspiration, encouragement and healing. It’s no coincidence that you found me. I’m a recovering drug addict, combating numerous mental illnesses and a victim of childhood abuse of each and every nature; the extent of which I would only feel comfortable divulging privately.
